Sierra began her dance training at ConfiDance Studio, and moved on to train with Studio 1, PHS Dance Company, and now is a Dance Major at BYU attending on a full scholarship!  We love Sierra's well rounded versatility.  She can perform and teach many styles of dance as well a tumbling.  Sierra has the gift of leadership.  All through Jr. High and High School, she served as a student body leader with many responsibilities and opportunities to stand as a positive example for her peers.  Prefering to focus on others, Sierra never seeks the spotlight for herself, yet always seems to end up being the leader that others rely on because of her willingness to serve.

But, she couldn't stay away for long.  From age 12 on, she trained several hours a day in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and eventually ballroom. She has studied at several studios, including Academy of Ballet and Center Stage. She was Co-Captain of Provo High School Dance Company from 2007-2008. She also competes ballroom all around the country and her formation team took first place at the national championships two years in a row. As a recipient of dance scholarship to BYU, she was placed directly on their Ballroom Touring Company. She was also one out of four girls to be accepted into the Dance Major program at BYU. Currently she is competes ballroom all around the country and was recently promoted to the coveted top BYU Ballroom Touring Team.  Callista went to Nauvoo with the BYU team this summer to perform and do missionary work at the visitors center there.

Taryn also began her dance career at ConfiDance as a young child and moved on to become one of Denna's favorite student assistants.  She then went on to train and perform with Studio 1 and PHS Dance Company.  Taryn danced with a college performing group and taught dance in a studio in Ephriam while attending Snow College.
Taryn has a special gift of working with children.  If you have had the privilege of watching her in action back stage at performances, you would have seen her conducting impromptu group games and activities to calm and focus the children as they are awaiting their turn to take the stage.  When you couple this gift with the other obvious gift she has of breathtaking dance. never ending leg extentions and amazing leaps that just hang in the air, you know she is the perfect combination for teaching children the love of dance.  Kids of all ages love to be with Taryn.
Unfortunately, others have spotted Taryn's special gift and although she is not quite through with her studies of Elementary Education at BYU, she has been offered her own 4th grade elementary school class to teach this year.
Taryn has kindly agreed to serve our students with solo choreography and private lessons as she can find time in her busy schedule.   What wonderful young women for our dancers to idealize!
